Lauren Hatchard
Film Production graduate

Thanks to Staffordshire University, I felt I could connect, converse and engage with professionals on a level where I understood the film industry terminology, production process and to showcase my knowledge of the industry standard software and equipment.

Nick Thursby
Film, Television and Radio Studies graduate

I’ve worked on everything from TV dramas like Call the Midwife, all the way up to larger feature films, the most well-known probably being Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and I’m currently aerial camera assistant for Steven Spielberg on Ready Player One.

James Sieradzki
Film Production

They understand what the film industry wants, in terms of technique, quality and accuracy. It's these skills that clearly helped me when entering the Virgin Media awards. The equipment we get to use on the course is great and prepares you for the real world of film making.

Sophie Piggot
Media Film Production Award Winner

I just wanted to make a film that says it's ok to be different. My lecturers were completely supportive throughout the course and really helped me make the film I wanted to.

Manjit Singh Mattu
Film Production Technology

I didn't know I had this in me until I came to Staffordshire University. I started writing on the course and really enjoyed it. I've had fantastic support from my tutors, they've really encouraged me.
